The e-Learning Expo Korea 2009 opened Wednesday at COEX in southern Seoul for a three-day run.

Jointly hosted by the education, culture and economy ministries, the event focuses on the current impact e-learning has had on the nation, as well as future developments in the area.

A wide range of e-learning booths are on display at the expo, including ones on education, business, edutainment and cyber home-schooling.

Ninety companies from 15 nations have set up 298 booths at the convention center.

A conference will be held Thursday and Friday under the theme “Transform Learning with Technology.”
