The Red Cross societies of the two Koreas will exchange on Tuesday each side’s confirmation of the whereabouts of candidates participating in inter-Korean family reunions scheduled to be held prior to the Korean thanksgiving Chuseok holiday early next month.

The South Korean side says it will deliver to North Korea a list of 160 South Koreans whose whereabouts and intent to join the reunions has been confirmed. The Koreas earlier exchanged a list of 200 candidates from each side for confirmation.

The North Korean Red Cross will also hand over its list of those who have been confirmed for participation.

The two Koreas will exchange on Thursday their final lists of 100 reunion participants from each side.

The reunions will be held at North Korea’s Geumgang Mountain from September 26th to October first.
