Koreas Exchange Lists of Reunion Participants

The Red Cross societies of the two Koreas exchanged their final lists of participants for the upcoming inter-Korean family reunions.

The Unification Ministry said the two sides exchanged the lists at a meeting between their liaison officers at the truce village of Panmunjeom on Thursday morning.

South Korea has selected 100 participants whose North Korean relatives have been confirmed to be alive and has notified them of their participation.

A total of 200 people, 100 from each side, will participate in the cross-border family reunions.

South Korea's designated participants will go to North Korea’s Mount Geumgang resort for a three-day reunion with their North Korean relatives from September 26th to the 28th.

North Korea's designated participants will meet with their South Korean relatives in Geumgang from September 29th to October first.
