The two Koreas have agreed on the locations for a series of family reunions that will take place at North Korea’s Mount Geumgang resort this weekend.

Unification Ministry spokesman Chun Hae-sung said Tuesday that the two Koreas agreed to hold group reunions at the family reunion center in the mountain resort on Saturday and individual reunions at guest rooms in Mount Geumgang Hotel on Sunday. Also on Sunday, an outdoor reunion will be held in front of the Onjeonggak recreation complex near North Korea's Mount Geumgang.

Chun added that a second round of reunions set to begin Tuesday will be held in the same format with the same hours and venues.

In the past, inter-Korean outdoor reunions were usually held near Geumgang’s Samilpo Lake before July of last year after a South Korean tourist was shot dead by a North Korean soldier.
