The number of daily inter-Korean border-passage windows to the Gaeseong Industrial Complex in North Korea will be reduced before winter.

Unification Ministry spokesman Chun Hae-sung told a regular news briefing Thursday that the number of daily inter-Korean overland passage windows to and from the industrial park will be reduced to 21 from the current 23.

With the revision, 4:30 p.m. will be the final time for South Korean passage into the North, while 5 p.m. will be the final time to enter the South from the North.

The ministry said passage to and from the industrial park will commence as usual on October second, the first day of the Chuseok holidays, but passage will be shut off on October third.
