The second round of inter-Korean family reunions continued on into Wednesday, with long-lost kin getting a chance to reunite at an outdoor reunion session held at North Korea’s Mount Geumgang resort.

On the second day of the second round of inter-Korean family reunions, some 500 South and North Korean participants picnicked in a field adjacent to Mount Geumgang Hotel on Wednesday afternoon.

Individual reunions were held in hotel rooms earlier in the day, followed by a reunion lunch.

The second round of reunions began on Tuesday and will end with a final reunion session Thursday morning.

The first of the two rounds of three-day reunions was held from Saturday to Monday.
