The Seoul metropolitan government said Monday it will turn on lights on four bridges across the Han River and a park in Cheongdam-dong next month to catch the eyes of tourists who come to the capital city for the World Cup finals.

The work of installing the lights is currently underway and slated for completion late this month. The four bridges to be illuminated are Dongho, Dongjak, Seongsan and Wonhyo.

The completion will bring the total number of Han River bridges with night lights to nine including Cheongdam, Seongsu, Hangang, Olympic, and Gayang.

South Korea and Japan will co-host the World Cup finals from May 31 to June 30, with Seoul as one of South Korea's ten host cities.
