A North Korean portal says Pyongyang remains unchanged in its stance to develop inter-Korean ties, citing recent cross-border family reunions and normalized operations at the joint Gaeseong Industrial Complex in the North.

The North Korean Internet portal “Uriminzokkiri” posted the remarks on its site Monday.

The commentary, titled "The fruit of our sincere effort toward Korean reconciliation and consolidation,” also said that all Korean people hope to achieve South-North reconciliation by implementing the 2000 and 2007 inter-Korean accords and that neither side is seeking cross-border confrontation.
