Seoul City Gov't to Promote S.Korean Movies

The Seoul city government has launched a Korean film promotion as part of its annual “Seoul Grand Sale.”

Several Korean movies with foreign language subtitles will be offered at a discounted price at select cinemas in Seoul through Saturday.

Tickets for the movies will only be six-thousand won. The lineup includes some of the most popular Korean movies of late, including “The Sword with No Name,” “A Secret Couple,” “Mother” and “Speed Scandal.”

The two-month “Seoul Grand Sale” is an attempt to promote Seoul as a shopping haven and attract more foreign tourists.
