Jarasum Int’l Jazz Festival 2009 Opens

The sixth Jarasum International Jazz Festival opened on Friday in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province, for a three-day run through Sunday.
The opening ceremony featured various famous jazz musicians like Italian trumpet master Enrico Rava and American guitarist Pat Martino.
More than two hundred top-notch domestic and foreign jazz musicians will hold concerts in Gapyeong or nearby Jara Island.
The largest domestic jazz festival attracts more than 100,000 music fans every year.
