Employees of government agencies had the day off on Saturday as the government implemented the five-day workweek system. The Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs said 56 thousand public servants in seven-hundred-96 government agencies participated in the new system. Under the system, government employees will have the fourth Saturday off every month. A ministry official said that essential staff will stay on duty to minimize inconvenience of the people.
