Hiddink names squad for 2002 World Cup finals

The Korea Football Association (KFA) Tuesday released the list of a 23-man squad, picked by coach Guus Hiddink, for this summer's World Cup finals. KFA officials said that, barring injury or a sharp drop in performance, the list will be submitted to FIFA on May 21st. The team will fly to Seogwipo, Jeju Island, Thursday to train for the upcoming World Cup and three friendly matches scheduled for May against Scotland, England and France.
The Korean Squad consists of:
Goalkeepers - Choi Eun-sung, Kim Byung-ji, Lee Woon-jae
Defenders - Choi Jin-chul, Hong Myung-bo, Kim Tae-young, Lee Min-sung, Hyun Young-min
Midfielders - Ahn Jung-hwan, Choi Sung-yong, Kim Nam-il, Lee Eul-yong, Lee Young-pyo, Park Ji-sung, Song Chong-gug, Yoo Sang-chul, Yoon Jong-hwan
and Forwards - Cha Doo-ri, Choi Yong-soo, Choi Tae-uk, Hwang Sun-hong, Lee Chun-soo, Seol Ki-hyeon
