EU Commission attacks S. Korea for alleged ship subsidies

The European Union Commission has criticized South Korea for allegedly subsidizing its shipbuilders. The commission said Tuesday in a report that certain South Korean shipyards are still pricing ships below cost. E.U. Trade Commissioner Pascal Lamy wants to file a complaint to the World Trade Organization and subsidize European shipbuilders. But the Seoul government is denying the charges.
