The number of tourists who have made reservations to visit South Korea during the World Cup ... has exceeded one hundred thousand as of the end of last month. That's according to Hodo Tour Company ... a leading member of a consortium created by the Korea World Cup Organizing Committee last year to provide transportation and tours for World Cup spectators. The company said some 50 thousand booked package tours and the rest individual tours. The company expects the number to increase to between one hundred-50 thousand and two hundred thousand by the middle of this month. Chinese tourists are topping the list followed by Japanese and European tourists. The Transportation and Tourism Service Agency will provide a one-stop service connecting soccer games with sightseeing tours and hotel and transportation arrangements.
