A North Korean cargo ship is waiting to dock at the Port of Incheon amid heightened tensions between the two Koreas following Tuesday’s naval skirmish in the Yellow Sea.

The Incheon Port Authority said Saturday that the North Korean vessel “Geumbit” left the North’s Geumsa Port on Tuesday and is scheduled to dock at Incheon on Monday.

Geumbit, which docked at Incheon twice this month alone, has reportedly crossed the Northern Limit Line into South Korean waters and is preparing to dock at the Port of Incheon.

The North Korean vessel was found to be carrying some two-thousand tons of silica to deliver to foundries near the port.
