A South Korean government source says it has confirmed North Korea’s currency reform.

He said the government has contacted foreign governments with diplomatic missions in Pyongyang since Monday and confirmed the North’s currency revaluation.

But he said there are discrepancies among reports on details of the North's revaluation, including the time of currency exchange.

North Korea reportedly conducted the currency reform on Monday.
