Firecrackers lit up the night skies in southern Seoul Wednesday as a giant World Cup mosaic image was unveiled. Korea Telecom dedicated the massive image on the 54-story glass-fronted Trade Tower to celebrate the upcoming global soccer tournament. The building wrap features a young soccer fan holding the golden World Cup trophy. The image is four hundred-27 feet high and one hundred-71 feet wide. Korea Telecom says its "building wrap" is the biggest ever ... followed by a 323 feet-tall by 14 feet-wide building wrap in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, created by U.S. sports gear giant Nike during the Euro 2000 soccer tournament. A spokesman for the country's largest telephone operator said the building wrap carries a message of hope for a successful staging of the World Cup.
