The inter-Korean inspection team that went overseas to examine industrial complexes has concluded their ten-day trip. South and North Korean officials will return to their respective nations Tuesday night.

The team went abroad to learn ways to advance the Gaeseong Industrial Complex in North Korea.

South and North Korean officials first met in Beijing on December 12th. They visited Chinese complexes in Qingdao, Suzhou and Shenzhen and then toured Vietnam from the 19th.

In Qingdao, they visited South Korea's Sindoh Company, which manufactures photocopiers machines. The team also visited Shin Heung Precision and TS Precision in Suzhou and Samsung Electronics in Vietnam.

Officials inspected competitive aspects of the investment environments, operational systems and labor management of successfully operating complexes.

The joint team was comprised of ten members from each Korea.
