National universities will invite foreign professors to teach from the second semester beginning in September. The Education Ministry said one hundred-three professors will be invited from overseas and they will receive up to one-hundred-thousand U.S. dollars a year. The ministry will finance half of their paycheck with the other half to be paid by the universities. More than half of the invited professors will teach high-tech subjects, including information-technology and bio-technology.
