A major road linking southern and western Jeju Island and bypassing the resort city of Seogwipo will be reopened Monday. The 7.1 km road, which has been expanded to a four-lane road, is expected to ease traffic congestion in Seogwipo, one of the host cities oies of the 2002 World Cup finals. The expansion will help the transportation of both regional products and passengers into Seogwipo, a major city and tourist attraction on Korea's scenic island in the south.
