Foreign luxury cruise ship will enter Incheon Port Monday

Incheon city officials said Saturday....a luxury cruise ship, the Crystal Harmony, will sail into Incheon Port early Monday to give its passengers a chance to see some local sights. At 241 meters long, 30 meters wide and with a swimming pool, casino and jogging track, the Bahamas-based 48,000-ton ship deserves the lthe label "floating hotel." The Incheon municipal government will present passengers promotional gifts to highlight the port's status as a host city for the May 31 to June 30 FIFA World Cup in Korea and Japan. The 722 passengers, mostly Americans and Canadians in their 50s or older, will split into small groups for one-day tours of popular sites in Incheon and Seoul, 40 km (24.8 miles) to the east. They will visit Gyeongbok Palace, Itaewon and Chamsil Olympic Stadium in Seoul and Wolmi Island, a war memorial and the China Town in Incheon. The Crystal Harmony will depart Incheon Monday night for her next destination Tianjin, China.
