North Korean leader Kim Jong-il has reportedly inspected a subunit of a tank division of the Korean People's Army.

Kim reportedly attended a training session at the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su 105 Guards Tank Division on an unidentified date. The exercise was based on a scenario where the North attacks the South.

North Korea's Korean Central Television reported Tuesday night Kim's inspection of the unit, airing a total of 59 photographs.

Four of the photos showed tanks passing by signs displaying names of South Korean locales and highways such as Chuncheon, Busan, Gimhae, South Jeolla Province and Honam Highway.
