Sail Korea 2000 is slated for May 22-26 at Incheon

An international sailing race will be held for a five-day run in the harbor of this port city, starting from next Wednesday. The organizing committee of the Sail Korea 2002 said Friday. 17 sailboats from South Korea, Japan, Russia, New Zealand and the Netherlands will be participating in the sailing competition. At a.m. Tuesday, the participating boats will parade from a point 40 miles west of the harbor toward the harbor, and the race will be held off Wharf No.5 from Wednesday through Sunday. The participating boats will sail to Mokpo at noon Sunday and proceed to Yokohama, Japan, via Busan and Tokyo, for another race there on June 30.
