Just as the festive mood is heating up over the World Cup ... FIFA president Sepp Blatter has arrived in Seoul. Ahead of the World Cup which opens next Friday, FIFA will elect a new president to lead the soccer world governing body. Blatter is seeking a second four-year term as president in Friday's vote. Also vying for the soccer Association top post is African soccer chief Issa Hayatou. Blatter is accused of financial mismanagement, but he is denying the charges. FIFA's general secretary, Michael Zen-Ruffinen, has accused Blatter of a coverup concerning FIFA financial losses. On May 10th, eleven of the 24 members of FIFA's ruling executive committee filed a criminal complaint against Blatter with Swiss prosecutors.
