N.Korea Proposes Working-Level Military Talks

North Korea proposed on Friday to hold military working-level talks on Tuesday to discuss cross-border passage, communications, and customs clearance at the Gaeseong business park.

A South Korean government official said relevant agencies are discussing the North’s proposal, and will respond to Pyongyang as soon as the debates are concluded.

Working-level military officials of the two Koreas last met in October 2008 at the truce village of Panmunjeom to discuss the spreading of anti-North Korean leaflets by South Korean human rights organizations.
