KBS World Radio, the overseas service of the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), will launch a news service in Korean and English specifically for language learners.

Starting February first, the service will be available on the KBS World Radio Web site, allowing users to listen to recorded news at a speed 20 to 30 percent slower than the original broadcast.

KBS expects the service will be useful for foreigners and Koreans studying English.
