Paid Music Service Popular in S.Korea

A survey finds that South Koreans are the most likely to pay for music files from subscription-based music services.

The global research firm "Synovate" conducted a survey late last year on some five-thousand adults from 13 countries including South Korea, the U.S., China and European nations.

According to the poll results, 49 percent of South Korean respondents said that they have paid for downloading music to their computers from online music sites. The figure is significantly higher than the average 14 percent recorded amongst the 13 countries.
