Ferret told a press conference that Zidane will sit out the opener Friday due to a th a thigh injury on his left leg. Whether the French star footballer will be fit for the World Cup holders' two other first round matches against Uruguay and Denmark is likely to depend on Zidane's progress in the next few days after undergoing four to five hours of daily rehab.
