The development of telecommunications services has enabled people to see religious writings, news and information on their mobile handsets or mobile Internet devices.

Religious groups said on Wednesday that a wide variety of mobile applications related to Christian and Catholic churches, Buddhism and Won Buddhism are being used as a way of disseminating information about religion.

The groups said information related to religion can now be found at the App Store for the iPhone.
