Foreign police officers dispatched to control football hooliganism

Foreign police officers are joining South Korean police in efforts to stem violence and disturbances that may be caused by hooligans. The National Police Agency said the anti-hooligan foreign police team includes three officers from France, two from Turkey and one each from Slovenia, Denmark and Sand Spain. Along with Korean police officers, they will take charge of all hooligan-related issues and keep a close eye on foreign soccer fans ... ready to deport any hooligan at the first sign of trouble. Five more anti-hooligan police experts from Brazil, China, Poland and Portugal are expected to arrive in Seoul by Monday. An additional eleven from Germany and England are due in Seoul later.
