Japan's Kyodo News Agency says six North Korean escapees were caught by Chinese police last week in China's southern province of Yunnan near the border with Laos. The reports said the North Koreans include a two-year-old baby whose mother defected to South Korea. The news agency also said the chairman of the U.S. House International Relations Committee and two other Representatives sent a letter to the Chinese Embassy in Washington ... requesting Beijing to handle the North Koreans in a humanitarian manner.
