FIFA's general secretary, Michael Zen-Ruffinen, will step down on July fourth. FIFA spokesman Keith Cooper said Friday the executive committee of FIFA has agreed to end its contractual relationship with Zen-Ruffinen. Eleven FIFA members have also agreed to withdraw a lawsuit against FIFA chief Sepp Blatter filed over allegations of financial mismanagement and corruption. Reports in Seoul said FIFA president Sepp Blatter would fire his deputy on Friday. Zen-Ruffinen, a lawyer and former international referee, circulated a 30-page document to FIFA's executive committee earlier this month ... detailing allegations of corruption involving Blatter. He accused his boss of making unauthorized payments and other financial misconduct. Blatter was elected to a second, four-year term as FIFA president at a congress in Seoul on Wednesday.
