Koreas to Hold Talks on Industrial Park

South and North Korea on Tuesday will hold working-level talks to discuss issues related to the passage of people and goods to the Gaesong Industrial Complex.

The Unification Ministry in Seoul said Monday that in those talks, Seoul officials will propose expanding a radio frequency identification system (RFID) to expedite crossings to the complex.

Seoul also plans to propose that the North ease entry restrictions by allowing South Koreans to visit the complex at any time during the day.

South Korea will also raise the issue of adopting a selective inspection in customs procedures rather than employing total inspections.
