12th Int'l Women's Festival in Seoul to Open in April

The 12th International Women’s Festival in Seoul will open for eight days starting April eighth in Sinchon.

Running on the theme “See the World Through Women’s Eyes,” the festival will screen 102 films from 27 countries.

The festival will open with director Susanne Schneider’s “The Day Will Come,” a film jointly produced by Germany and France that delves into the concept of “maternity” that is being reinterpreted in an era of new liberalism.

The festival will close with a screening of the winner of the festival’s Best Asian Short Award.
