Korea's World Cup team head coach Guss Hiddink said Wednesday he was not surprised to see the United States beat Portugal. Hiddink said at the Suwon World Cup Stadium after the Americans beat the Portuguese 3-2.....he already knew the United States are a strong team. Saying that players with overseas clubs are leading the U.S. squad, Hiddink said the Korean team were making full preparation for their clash with the United States, scheduled for Monday. Asked about the injuries of Hwang Sun-hong and Yoo Sang-chul, the coach said the two players received medical examinations in the day, but he has yet to receive the result of the examinations. Hiddink, however, expressed worries that Yoo's injuries might turn out to be serious.
