Foreigners interested in buying construction technologies

After the successful opening ceremony at Seoul World Cup Stadium was televised around the world, South Korea is getting attention from overseas for the construction of the stadium. Samsung Engineering, which constructed the stadium, said five countries, including China, Morocco and the Czech Republic, have contacted it for talks on whether to buy technologies for stadium construction. Morocco sent its sports minister to Seoul last Friday for negotiations, and this was followed by a visit by top soccer officials from the Czech Republic. They met the chairman of the Seoul Stadium Construction Committee and other officials to talk about the stadium construction technologies and knowhow. China, which will host the Two-thousand-eight Olympics and is hoping to make it a green Olympics, is reportedly interested in the example of Seoul World Cup Stadium which was built near a former landfill west of Seoul.
