Publishers Agree to End Printing of Beopjeong's Books

Publishing firms have come to an agreement with a charity group formerly led by the late Venerable Beopjeong to print no more copies of his books, in accordance with his will.

Members of the group “Clearly and Fragrantly” (www.clean94.or.kr) visited yesterday a number of publishing firms, including Literary Forest and Bumwoosa, and explained Beopjeong's will that no more of his writings be published after his death. The publishers agreed to end the publications.

Beopjeong’s book "Beautiful Closure" was the number-one seller last week.
All of his eight books, including "Nonpossession" and "All Living Things Be Happy," made it onto the top-20 best seller list.
