S.Korea Urges NK to Identify Detainees

The South Korean government is urging North Korea to release the identities of four South Koreans allegedly under investigation by the North.

Unification Ministry spokesman Chun Hae-sung told a news briefing Friday that one month has passed since the North announced that it had captured four South Koreans for entering the Stalinist state illegally.

Chun urged the North to reveal the identities and the current state of the South Koreans.

North Korea told South Korea on March second during a working-level meeting at the Gaeseong Industrial Complex in the North that it would take time to confirm the identities of detainees.
