One million people were on the street cheers

An estimated over one million people were gathered on the streets across the nation to support and cheer the match between South Korea and the United States on Monday. According to a tally conducted by the Police, 450,000 Seoul citizens were thronged together in front of Seoul City Hall and on the intersection of Kwang Wha Moon street and the rest 550,000 people were flocked on the streets of each city across the nation to give cheers for the Korean soccer team. Police said the number would increase greatly if those cheering in houses and offices are included.
