Korean food is experiencing increased popularity abroad.

The majority of the cup noodles sold in Russia, nearly 60 percent, is imported from Korea. The noodles are not spicy and require no broth in order to better suit the palates of Russian people.

Korean-made instant fruit juice products in nine flavors are also experiencing increased popularity in Russia.

Seaweed snack biscuits, although originally developed to target Chinese tourists, have become one of the more popular snacks in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Korean food producers will continue to localize their products in hopes of further increasing their presence on the global food scene.
