TOPIK to be Conducted This Weekend

A Korean language test offered to foreigners in the nation as well as people studying Korean in other countries will take place for two days starting Saturday.

The Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation announced that the 18th Test of Proficiency in Korean will take place in 27 countries, including South Korea. Some 77-hundred people are expected to take the test.

The test was first conducted in 1997. Its results are used for employment and for school applications.
