KBS Radio 3 to Launch FM Broadcasting

KBS Radio 3, a KBS radio channel for the visually handicapped, will launch its FM broadcasting starting Tuesday, the Day for the Disabled.

KBS Radio 3, which until now has been airing on an AM frequency, will provide FM services on 104.9 megahertz.

To mark the launch of the FM service, both KBS Radio 1 and 3 will air at 9:05 a.m. a special program "Class One on Korea."

The program is about disabled children and those without disabilities watching stars together and dreaming about becoming scientists in the future.

Another program "I Can Do," which will be aired live at 2:05 p.m., will feature a temporary market set up at KBS which sells 20 kinds of handicraft made by severely handicapped people.
