'Thirst' Wins Special Jury Prize at BIFFF

South Korean director Park Chan-wook’s thriller "Thirst" has won a special jury prize at the 28th Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival.

“Thirst” and Japanese director Hitoshi Matsumoto’s “Symbol” were awarded the “Silver Raven,” which is a special prize of the jury.

Starring Song Kang-ho and Kim Ok-bin, the Korean film is about a priest who becomes a vampire and falls in love with his friend’s wife.

“Thirst” won the Jury Prize at the 62nd Cannes International Film Festival last year and was ranked tenth in Time magazine’s Top 10 Movies of 2009.
