Seoul to Boost No. of Guides for Foreign Tourists

Seoul City will make additional guides available starting Friday to foreign tourists in popular destinations in the capital.

The Seoul City government will station the guides based on their areas of language expertise in additional areas such as Sinchon and Itaewon.

The guides, dubbed “Walking Tourism Information Centers,” are already operating in tourist areas such as Myeongdong and Namdaemun Market.

The guides will be stationed in a total of 12 areas in Seoul prior to the G20 summit in November.
