North Korea began Wednesday implementing the procedures to freeze assets held by South Korea’s Hyundai Asan at the North’s Mount Geumgang.

The freeze comes one day earlier than previously announced by the communist country.

A Hyundai Asan official said that North Korea froze Wednesday a golf course, a concrete-mixing facility and a snow sledding field owned by the South Korean operator of tours to the Mount Geumgang resort.

The North said it will complete the freezing of Hyundai Asan’s properties at Geumgang by Friday.
