Rodin Exhibition to Open in Seoul Friday

A major retrospective exhibition of French sculptor Auguste Rodin will be held in Seoul from Friday.

The exhibition at the Seoul Museum of Art will showcase some 110 original sculptures, including “The Age of Bronze,” “The Gates of Hell,” and “The Thinker.”

The exhibition will also display 42 drawings and 25 photographs.

“The Hand of God,” a marble sculpture, and “The Thinker,” a large plaster sculpture, will be displayed outside France for the first time. They are on loan from the Musee Rodin in Paris.

The display will continue through August 22nd.
