Prominent Asian directors are visiting Seoul to shoot dramas and movies at famous Seoul tourist spots.
Seoul city officials say Thai director Banjong Pisanthanakun will be filming his latest project "Knowing Me Knowing You" in Seoul throughout this month.
In the romantic comedy, a Thai man and woman traveling in Korea fall in love in Seoul. Eighty percent of the movie is filmed at scenic Seoul spots such as Myeongdong and the Gyeongbok royal palace.
A TV drama about a Malaysian woman starting a new life in Korea was also filmed in Seoul last month.
Seoul has aided in the production costs in hopes of promoting the Korean capital.
