North Korea has once again warned South Korea against continuing to allow anti-North Korean leaflets to be sent via balloon over the inter-Korean border.
The North’s official Korean Central News Agency says the North's chief delegate to the inter-Korean military talks sent a telegram to the South Korean military that claimed the South continues to instigate and tacitly approve the circulation of the leaflets.
The North threatened to take measures that go beyond simply blocking passage on cross-border highways.
The North said the South would be responsible for any consequences of its attempts at psychological warfare against the North.
In a telegram sent April tenth, Pyongyang said the leaflet circulation violates the South-North military agreement to halt all propaganda activities against each other. It also said it would reconsider providing safety guarantees on land travel between the two Koreas.
