N.K. postpones int'l IT forum indefinitely

A business source here said Tuesday North Korea has recently notified South Korean information and technology (IT) firms that it is delaying the Pyongyang International High-Tech Forum and Expo that was originally slated for June 28th and 29th at the People's Cultural Palace in the North's capital. The Pan-Pacific Economic Development Association of Korean Nationals faxed messages to the companies to that effect Friday, the source said. The source said the association and the Academy of Social Sciences are the co-organizers of the event.
