After a full day of rest, the Korean soccer team has moved to Gyeongju. On Thursday afternoon, the Korean team had some light training ahead of a third-place match against Turkey. That game is scheduled for Saturday evening in Daegu. Police in the southeastern city have already tightened security in the City of Apple. More than six thousand police officers, including special riot police, will be deployed in and around Daegu World Cup Stadium. Military and fire fighters are also on standby ... ready to cope with any emergency situation or any disturbances by hooligans. Officials expect tens of thousands of soccer fans to flood into the southeastern city in North Gyongsang Province to root for the Korean team.
